Storyline of the Documusical
A visionary doctor’s quest to heal healthcare with a people’s information network evolves into an open deliberation system.
The doctor organizes people and lobbies for an ideal healthcare system. The project encompasses all to be health related and the ushin system becomes inclusive of all topics for deliberation. She has events and makes bling to tag snippets with ushin shapes in different ways. Playing with the ushin shapes helps people see things differently and can open hearts.
The project is curtailed by a car crash and the doctor loses her ability to think. Her son takes over, moving the project from a concept to working software. She recovers and describes her vision on this website you are reading now.
Storyline of the Oratorio
These may be selected to play in any order on the site.
Three stories celebrate three legendary and historical heroes of worldwide repute. Others are invited to contribute art and other stories to support, expand and enhance the project.The fourth is envisioned as an experiment in collaboration with deliberation tools.
The first story tells of the Rosetta Stone, Ptolemy V’s basalt proclamation, in three languages, relieving debts for his people. It celebrates the practice of jubilee in ancient middle east and elsewhere. It introduces the pursuit of one’s own leadings .
The second story tells of Awakening through meditation, Siddhartha Gautama’s wisdom about the liberation which unfolds from right living. It celebrates the power of mindfulness for discernment and management of thoughts with deliberation of causes and effects influencing action.
The third story tells the prehistoric legend of the Exodus, Moses’ leading his people from Egypt into the desert to escape slavery – going cimmaron. It celebrates times of rest remembering the promise of periodic liberation during one’s life as in times as in old.
The fourth story tells of potential future scenes that might result from sensible, merciful communication among those now alive. It explores themes of deliberation and accountability. The presentation invites art, music with feedback as it unfolds an experiment in deliberation..
As with this site, the oratorio is incomplete. Each of the four parts will be updated and reflect their stage of development at time of this writing.
Integration
The intertwined docu-musical and oratorio stories braid commonly known stories of human integrity of long ago with possibilities of deliberation in our time and as our legacy for the future.
This website is intended to offer tools to deliberate aspects of the Imbue project try out the ushin shapes.

ACT 2:ushin envisioned
0d finds herself in a psycho-spiritual and socio-political cage of apparent betrayals. Family and colleagues bale, steal and sabotage 0d’s efforts. Tthe potential of ushin software approximates, but falls short of, free and open deliberation. 0d turns from activism to music for sharing her vision of merciful individuation for medicine, justice and policy through deliberation. Writing music for a medley of prophetic prose she tells the story of legends and history that prove the power and wisdom of humanity to achieve social, economic, psycho-spiritual and intellectual freedom. The ACT concludes with workable tools to carry forth the ushin potential as the doctor gives away control of its future.

ACT 3: ushin imbued
The project invites participation at this point, to paint potential visions of liberation through deliberation with images, music and interactivity, online and offline, in the past, present and future.
This site may experiment with new tools to connect with ushin shapes and branch out to other tools, portals and platforms, branching widely for inclusion of the growing variety of communication technologies within and beyond social media.
Examples of freedom
Acts 1 & 2 presented three examples of freedom from a psychospiritual perspective and through epic stories from pre-history and antiquity. In ACT 3 site visitors are invited to enjoy contributions of others and upload newfreedom events within the Last 2 Millenium.

Modeling how ushin works
This and related sites will show screen shots and examples of updated and extended functionality of existing ushin software, see https://ushin.org, and models of some envisioned features.
Likewise the sites will update and extend examples of face-to-face ushering which have already been shown on this and related sites. These are shared online and offline, using ushin shapes and unlimited other means of connecting.
Gathering Legends and Histories of Freedom
a utopic, (non-distopic) collaborative collage of socially important events in our collective consciousness that inspire creative expression in the light of freedom.

The team is considering how site visitors can share their own visions of a peaceable kingdom, in ushin format
Modeling future tools
Audience invited to usher ideas at the moment and to get together to deliberate around your own topics, whether or not you use ushin shapes.
Usher with or without home made charms and other shape swag. Free plans and recipes for making swag for oneself and one’s group with paper, lazer, clay, etc. to be uploaded.
Online ushin swag designs and plans for laser printing charms and coaster and boxes are all freely available to support local groups using the ushin shapes.
This site may also host deliberations related to this and possibly also related projects.
Toward Deliberation
Introducing existing tools
technologies. including those at ushin.org and modeled at dev.ushin.org, that are poised for extension and potential inclusive free and open P2P deliberation.
Testing tools we have
Using wordpress plugins, widgets to exemplify features that could be part of a deliberation system. This may involve repurposing several working pieces and faking others to demonstrate a potential work-flow or outcome.
Curating site content contributed by others
For now we are gathering contributions using wordpress forms. In a mature ushin system users and their own chosen peer groups will create, edit and share filters to curate what shows up for them.

In ACT 3 revisions of songs and new songs are shared among people according to theme of freedom, whether that be psychospiritually, sociopolitically (cimarron or jubileed)or through examples of deliberation.

The site will focus on the Imbue project and what we can do to promote the concept of deliberation and share our visions of what is possible.
Communities
Initially using this site and the Imbue project as a nidus for people to gather and contribute their expressions. The site will model and share tools for people to create ones’ own independent nidi to gather information and deliberate among oneselves.

You and your peers – whoever else is on board – are the volunteer characters of ACT 3. As a neutral system the people at USHIN, Inc. will not be adding grist to the mill that we are creating. You are the ones who get to contribute issues and related shapes to test the system and invent better ones.

Using git for song lists and deliberation
Imbue may experiment with using a method we term the git “fringe”.
Songs will be saved in a git repository, which lets musicians collaborate and listeners rank what they hear. Rather than merge branches into one definitive song production, the site will list various renditions of a song, with each recording a “fringe” dangling from a main branch.
